Digital Reports with Photos

Great News!!! No more receiving unreadable faxed reports or waiting for the Inspection Reports to be delivered to you or your agent by mail.

We use the HomeGauge computerized home inspection reporting system which allows us to include digital pictures. The home inspection reports are available to our Customers and their Agents on the Internet as soon as the reports are completed. Reports can be viewed as often as needed and printed as many times as necessary.

To view and/or print these reports on the Internet, all that is needed is your web browser. There is no plug-in required or any other kind of reader needed. You will be e-mailed a link to your report. This e-mail only contains a link to the report and does not have any attachments. This means you do not need to download large e-mail attachments and you do not need to worry about e-mail viruses.

What Areas are Inspected During the Inspection

We inspect all the structural elements and systems of the home. Items that will typically be included in an inspection, meet and exceed the South Carolina Standard of Practice for Residential Home Inspections.

Kitchen Items: Sinks and associated plumbing fixtures, garbage disposal, cook-top ranges, exhaust hoods, gas/electric ovens, microwaves, dishwasher, trash compactor, counter tops, cabinet doors, etc...
Interior Living Areas: Ceilings, walls, wood paneling, carpeting, laminate flooring, ceramic tile, hardwood, interior doors, windows, fireplaces, chimney, staircases, closlet/doors, etc...
Electrial Items: Light fixtures, ceiling fans, switches, outlets, GFCI protection, smoke detector(s), breakers and check correct wire gauge to proper breaker ampage in panel box, all accessible wiring, etc...
Heating and Cooling Systems: Electric heat pumps / Gas furance, AC units, ductwork, thermostat and controls, digital temperture readings taken at vents, etc...
Bathrooms: All sinks, plumbing, faucets, stoppers, caulking, cabinetry, counter tops, showers / tubs, whirlpools, toilets, exhaust fans, light fixtures, ventilation, etc...
Garage / Carport: Ceiling, walls, flooring, garage door openers and test saftey devices, windows, GFCI outlets, etc...
Structural and Foundation Systems: Crawlspace, foundation vents, basement, floor joists, sills, wood deteriorating moisture, floor repairs and/or floor jacks, etc...
Roof and Attic Structural: Shingles, tiles, flashing, powered and non-powered ventilation, gutters, insulation, electrical, refters, signs of moisture, patches or repairs, etc...
Exterior Structure: Brick veneer, vinyl / aluminum / wood / masonite type of sidings, trim, fascia boards, exterior doors, porches, decks, railing, etc...
